EARLY CHILDHOOD MIXED-AGE GROUP

Age: 2.5-6 years — Occasionally, a younger or older child is a good fit for the group or program.

Monday - Thursday
Friday, TBA, depending on enrollment
Times:
8:30-12:30, Daily Program
12:30-3:30, Afternoon Rest
Attendance Guidelines:
One or two mornings recommended for children under 3.
Three days recommended for 3 year-olds.
Four days recommended for 4 year-olds.
By 5 and 6, it is recommended that children attend a full-day program five days weekly.
LOCATION AND GROUNDS
The outdoor and indoor space is filled with natural materials that promote open-ended, imaginative play. The heart of the school is the garden grounds in which the children care for plants and participate in the rhythms of the seasons.
FAMILY CIRCLE and WORK DAYS
Dates will be scheduled throughout the year for families to meet to discuss topics, work on seasonal handwork projects and contribute to work days.
FESTIVAL LIFE
Dates will be scheduled throughout the year to come together to celebrate seasonal festivals.
