The Garden School is a Waldorf-inspired preschool. Life is the curriculum and home is the model, providing a gentle transition to school.
OUR MISSION is to support early childhood development and parenting. We nurture the foundational tasks of the first six years through communal participation, movement, free play and nature. We support parenting through Family Circle meetings, work days, workshops and seasonal festivals.
Garden School is based on 30 years of experience with children and families in a number of fields, including Waldorf education, LifeWays North America, play therapy, movement arts, music and nature-based education.
